TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, in lower Strong Auditorium on the University's River Campus
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public
This concert will feature such diverse groups as a string quartet, piano and strings, a saxophone quartet, and a violin and cello duo. The ensembles will perform works from several celebrated composers, including Schubert and Brahms.
The University of Rochester Chamber Ensembles are composed of dozens of talented River Campus musicians studying a variety of subjects. The chamber ensembles are currently under the direction of David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities.
