The University of Rochester has teamed up with Latinas Unidas to become the prime sponsor of the organization\'s annual ¡Soy Unica! ¡Soy Latina! public education and empowerment rally next month and for years to come.

Girls and their parents will have the opportunity to participate in a host of workshops and information sessions about college admissions, managing finances, maintaining cultural traditions, and healthy living. Breakfast and lunch will be served, door prizes will be available, and girls will be eligible to win a QuinceaƱera gown. The event is free and open to the public.
