A sneak preview of Three to Tango, starring Matthew Perry, Neve Campbell, Dylan McDermott, and Oliver Pratt, will be offered to University of Rochester students and the general public at 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20.
Three to Tango is the story of Oscar Novac, a young architect who, along with his business partner, Peter Steinberg, is given a career-boosting assignment of renovating a historic museum for wealthy magnate Charles Newman. Following a misunderstanding, Newman assumes that his new architects are a romantic couple, and charges Oscar the additional duty of spying on Newman's mistress, Amy. Peter is gay; however, Oscar is not. When Oscar begins to fall in love with Amy, he continues to live as a "closet homosexual," not only to be near her, but to protect his career as well.
The preview, which will be held in Hubbell Auditorium in Hutchison Hall on the University's River Campus, is free and open to the public. Door passes should be obtained prior to the viewing from the Wilson Commons Information Desk. For more information contact the information desk at (585) 275-5911.
Three to Tango is a Warner Bros. Production, and is sponsored by adidas moves fragrance, SCOPE, and mybytes.com, and is subsponsored by Atlantic and Polygram records. The film is brought to the University of Rochester by Network Event Theater (NET), which also provides previews of concerts, lectures, and HBO programs.
