WHO, WHAT: Terry O\'Neill, National President of the National Organization for Women (NOW), will speak to students, the University of Rochester community, and the general public about why we need the CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women) and the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment). The talk is free and open to the public.
At 10:45a.m. Ms. O\'Neill is expected to take questions from the audience. She will be available to answer questions from the media following the public question-and-answer session.
TIME, DATE, PLACE: 10 a.m. on Friday, April 30, in the Interfaith Chapel Sanctuary on the University\'s River Campus.
