Gregory V. MacDonald has been named director of undergraduate admissions for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering at the University of Rochester.
"Greg has been working in the capacity of acting director of admissions since April 2002, and comes to us with more than 12 years of progressive experience in college admissions from select national research universities," said Dean of the College William Scott Green.
MacDonald joined the University in 1999 as associate director of admissions after serving in a variety of admissions office posts at Case Western Reserve University during the prior six years. He also has been an admissions counselor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1990. He holds a master of science degree in higher education administration from Syracuse University.
