Seminar on "Challenges for Faculty Retirement Decision-Making: Health, Finances and Professional Satisfaction"

Dana Burr Bradley, assistant professor of political science and gerontology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, will give a seminar on "Challenges for Faculty Retirement Decision-Making: Health, Finance and Professional Satisfaction" from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, Room 4W-301 Helen Wood Hall Lounge, 255 Crittenden Boulevard.

Bradley's teaching and research interests lie in the areas of aging public policy, long-term care, nonprofit management, understanding the retirement process, and older adult volunteer motivation and management. She received her bachelor's degree in history from the University of Rochester in 1983 and her Ph.D. from Carnegie-Mellon University. She will discuss the various factors to be considered in making faculty retirement decisions.

The seminar is sponsored by the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine.
