After Hours, a coed a cappella group at the University of Rochester, will take
a lighthearted look at the current television season as part of its upcoming
concert.
Titled "Dude, Where's My Remote?", the show is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 15, in Strong Auditorium on the University's River Campus and
will feature musical selections of many different styles and genres, including
classic rock, jazz, and alternative. In between sets, group members will present
comic skits satirizing some of the programs viewers can see on television this
fall.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Common
Market in Wilson Commons on the River Campus.
Formed six years ago, After Hours has 15 members: seven women and eight men.
The group stages two main concerts on campus, goes caroling during the holiday
season, serenades couples for Valentine's Day, and performs at other colleges.
After Hours has recorded two CDs: Charivari on Tap and Pit Stop.
