The University of Rochester Gospel Choir will be presenting its 25th annual "Gospel Fest" at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester River Campus.

Directed by the Rev. Alvin Parris III, who established the choir in 1976, the ensemble will present a variety of contemporary gospel favorites. The program will also include performances by gospel choirs from such institutions as Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fisher College, Roberts Wesleyan College, Monroe Community College, and East High School. The Cleveland Orchestra Community Gospel Choir will also perform.

Tickets for this event are $5 general admission; $3 for senior citizens and University students with ID. Parking is free in the university lots all weekend. Please contact the College Music Department at (585) 275-2828 at least five days in advance for special accommodations.
