The University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert featuring internationally acclaimed pianist Zora Mihailovich at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Strong Auditorium on River Campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will feature “Le Coin des Enfants” by Claude Debussy, “Jeux des Enfants” by Georges Bizet, and “Symphonic Variations” by Cèsar Franck.

Mihailovich, currently artist-in-residence in the College’s music department, has performed in recitals and as an orchestral soloist in major European and North American centers such as London’s Royal Festival Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and the Conservatoire Royal in Brussels. She is also a Steinway artist and gives master classes in Europe and in the United States.

Conducted by David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities, the Chamber Orchestra is a 40-member student ensemble that presents concerts on the River Campus and in the Rochester community.
