University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra Concert

The University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester’s River Campus. The concert will be conducted by David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities at the College, and will feature Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3.

Consisting of 40 student musicians, the chamber orchestra puts on four free concerts each year on the University Campus as well as additional concerts in the greater Rochester community. The chamber orchestra also regularly tours both the United States and abroad including appearances in Jamaica, The Grand Cayman Islands, Italy, and Georgetown.
