The University of Rochester Wind Symphony will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in Strong Auditorium on the University’s River Campus.

The ensemble will perform “Sketches on a Tudor Psalm” by Fisher Tull, “Symphonic Dance No. 3” by Clifton Williams, “Dynamica” by Jan van der Roost, and “Philosopher’s Stone” by Thomas Duffy.

Directed by William Tiberio, the University of Rochester Wind Symphony is comprised of students, faculty, staff, and community members who are serious and accomplished musicians. The ensemble studies and performs standard and contemporary wind music as well as transcriptions from other genres.
