The University of Rochester’s Midnight Ramblers, an all-male a cappella group started in 1998, will present their Spring Show at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Common Market in Wilson Commons on the River Campus.

The performance is the Ramblers’ final on-campus show before the group heads to New York City at the end of April to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella. The group will perform the set that won them the Mid-Atlantic regional title last month, featuring “Stuck in the Middle with You,” “When She Loved Me,” and “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”

The show will feature the debut of eight new songs and is also the final concert for graduating seniors Daniel Israel, Bryan Pennington, Elliot Pennington, and Tom Kraus. There will be a guest performer.

Currently consisting of 15 members, the Ramblers have traveled and performed at various university functions and workshops around the country, including a recent tour in California during which the group performed the national anthem at two National Basketball Association games. Their Blue Album, released last month, is the group’s fifth recording.
