"Recovery Room," the latest exhibition of photo-based work by Susana Reisman, is on display in the Gallery at the Art & Music Library on the University of Rochester's River Campus through Saturday, Oct. 1. It is free and open to the public.

Reisman describes her show as bringing together two different bodies of work "that address issues of mass consumption, circulation, and value—on the level of both the literal trash and collectibles represented, and that of a larger examination of the redemptive possibility or place of art in the context of digital technologies and mass reproduction."

The artist earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics from Wellesley College and her master's of fine arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she is currently teaching photography.

Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. The gallery is located on the ground floor of Rush Rhees Library.
