The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival will present its "reduced" version of Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, in Todd Theater on the University of Rochester's River Campus.

The Tragedie of Macbeth was adapted for five actors and is directed by Dawn Youngs, who has appeared in such roles as Celia in Shakespeare's As You Like It and as Rosencrantz in The Tragical History of Hamlet Prince of Denmark.

Founded in 1998, the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival offers traveling stage productions of the Bard's works as well as providing theater workshops in the company's home base. The company's local appearance is presented by the International Theatre Program at the University of Rochester.

Tickets to The Tragedie of Macbeth are $8 for the general public and $5 for students and can be reserved by calling the box office at (585) 275-4088 or can be purchased at the box office one hour before the performance.
