A sneak preview of Warner Brothers' Three Kings, starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, and Ice Cube, will be offered to University of Rochester students and the general public at 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Three Kings depicts the lives of a group of four adventurous American soldiers in Iraq following the Gulf War, with the sole pursuit of finding a stolen cache of gold believed to be hidden within their desert base. With the aid of a map, the soldiers embark on a journey that leads to unexpected discoveries and heroic challenges that can drastically change their lives. The combination of alternating grim reality and surrealistic dark humor makes their journey one they will never forget. The movie is scheduled to be released in commercial theaters Oct. 1.

The preview, which will be held in Hubbell Auditorium in Hutchison Hall on the River Campus, is free and open to the public. Door passes should be obtained in advance from the Wilson Commons Information Desk on River Campus. For more information contact the information desk at (585) 275-5911.

The preview of Three Kings is sponsored by Warner Brothers, 1-800-COLLECT, and CERTS, and is brought to the University by Network Event Theater (NET), which also provides previews of concerts, lectures, and HBO programs. The preview is presented in association with the Student Activities Office (SAO) and the UR Cinema Group.
