Dzuris was appointed the first University Carillonneur at Clemson University in 1999, where she is also a music professor. She studied carillon in Switzerland and in the Netherlands and has performed in several states and in Europe. Her program in Rochester will include popular songs arranged for the carillon, including selections from The Sound of Music and contemporary pieces like "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley and "Moon River" by Henry Mancini, as well as a work composed specifically for the carillon, "Saga of the Stars" by Geoffrey L. Cook.

Concertgoers should bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and even a book to read and can sit anywhere on the Eastman Quadrangle in front of the library to enjoy the music. For more information, contact (585) 275-2828.
