Tuition and room-and-board charges for most undergraduates at the University of Rochester will increase by 3.9 percent in the 2001-02 academic year.

In the College and School of Nursing, undergraduate tuition will be $24,150, a 4.4 percent increase from the current year. Board plans are being substantially restructured for the coming year, but the average room and board charge is expected to be $7,620.

Tuition for Eastman School students will be $21,880; for medical students at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, $29,100; for students at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, $28,290; and for students at the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development, $24,150.
