High school students from the Rochester area will be competing in the University of Rochester's annual step show. About 150 high school students representing 10 schools will compete in men's and women's categories. Before the competition, the students will meet with members of the University's Multicultural Greek Council to talk about the importance of higher education. Also, the University's newly formed step group X-Clusive will perform in the annual competition for the first time.

First-place trophies in each category will be awarded in the name of the late Steven J. Harrison, an alumnus of the College Class of 2000 and a 2001 graduate of the Warner Graduate School of Education.

The show is sponsored by the Black Students' Union in collaboration with Rochester Step-Off.
