The works of graduating studio arts majors from the Department of Art and Art History are currently on display in the Gallery at the Art and Music Library and at the AsIs gallery at Sage Art Center on the River Campus. The exhibits will continue through May 14, and admission to both galleries is free and open to the public.

The student exhibitions use a variety of media and express different themes that the artists wish to highlight. The work of senior Heather Bischoff is currently featured through March 30 in the Gallery at the Art and Music Library. Bischoff's exhibition is an installation of sculptural objects investigating space created by sound.

Also at the Gallery at the Art and Music Library, the work of Miya Sylvester will be shown from April 3 through April 10 and will feature digital prints exploring the art of origami. Laura Teicher, who explores the concept of memory with paintings of old photographs, will display her work from April 14 to April 21. A multimedia exhibit by To-Ning Wu, who investigates the fusion of Western and Eastern pop culture, will be held from April 25 to May 2. The work of Ryan Korsak, whose large inkjet prints explore childhood obsessions, will be on display from May 6 to 14. An earlier exhibition at the gallery featured Pamela Reese-Smith, whose collages, paintings, and book pieces recall her childhood growing up in Harlem.

In addition to the exhibits at the Art and Music Library, the work of Diana Vidal will be on display through March 30 in the Sage Arts Center on the University's River Campus. Vidal's exhibit deals with objects, toys, and the body through large inkjet prints.

The hours for the Gallery at the Art and Music Library, located on the ground floor of Rush Rhees Library, are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
