The July issue of US Airways Magazine hails Rochester with a 70-page profile about its best-known sights, the strengths of its colleges and universities, and its reputation as an innovator. Photographs, stories, and quotes describe how the University of Rochester and its people contribute to the region's excellence.

Articles point to the community's pride in many attributes, among them research and quality care at the University of Rochester Medical Center, inspiration and achievement at the Eastman School of Music, and history and discoveries from the University's optics research.

And if you weren't aware that School of Engineering Dean Kevin Parker is an entrepreneur and scholar, or that the River Campus was the original home of Oak Hill golf course, you'll read it in this issue.

"We aim to get three reactions from our readers: Wow!; I didn't know that!; and How soon can I get there?" says Marian Cowhig, project editor for the profile series. About 7 million people fly USAirways each month and are the magazine's prime audience.

The magazine's monthly profile section features many regions served by the airline. To read it online, go to http://usairwaysmag.com/2007_07/profiles.php.
