The University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra will give a performance at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 28, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus.

David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities at the College, will conduct the orchestra in works that include Britten's Peter Grimes: Four Sea Interludes, Sibelius' Violin Concerto, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. The concert will also feature a solo by violinist Jeff Bae '04.

Now in its 44th season, the 100-member symphony orchestra presents four free concerts each year in Strong Auditorium. Comprised mainly of University undergraduate and graduate students, the orchestra also includes talented community musicians from the greater Rochester area.
