WHO: The Youth Lifeline America Free Football & Life Skills Camp brings more than 200 eighth-, ninth-,and tenth-graders (13- through 17-year-olds) from the Rochester region to the University of Rochester for a two-day camp that provides life skills education and positive mentorship in an athletic environment.

TIME, DATE, PLACE: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, Fauver Stadium, University of Rochester River Campus

WHAT: The Free Football & Life Skills Camp is sponsored by the University of Rochester Office of Admissions and Financial Aid and Youth Lifeline America, a not-for-profit organization founded by Super Bowl Champ and Rochester native Roland Williams.

Williams, along with the YLA team, will spend time on the field with the campers, teaching basic football drills. In the classroom, local business professionals provide comprehensive life skills education including computer and financial literacy, college preparation strategies, and goal achievement.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Parents can register their children by attending the Pre-Camp Registration Night on Friday, June 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Goergen Athletic Center (located on Library Road on the River Campus). Participants also may register at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, in the Douglass Dining Center. 3:40 p.m. – football practice
5 p.m. – life skills workshops, parent reception & workshop
6 p.m. – camp graduation at Strong Auditorium

PARKING: Visitors may park at the Library Lot, located behind Rush Rhees Library or along Library Road by Fauver Stadium.
