High school students interested in attending college in the Rochester region will have a chance to meet with admissions counselors from the University of Rochester, The College at Brockport, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and Saint John Fisher College during Navy Week's College Days celebration. The event, which begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 15, on the University of Rochester River Campus, aims to introduce prospective students to four area universities associated with the Rochester Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC).

Throughout the day, students will interact with admissions counselors from each of the four schools, hear a keynote lecture from University of Rochester alumna Gretchen Herbert, Rear Admiral for the United States Navy, meet with Captain Greg McWherter Commanding Officer and Blue Angels Flight Leader, and have an opportunity to tour each college. Lunch also will be provided.

The first 100 students to register for College Days will receive a free ticket to the see the Blue Angels, the Navy Flight Demonstration Team, at the ESL International Air Show.
