The David T. Kearns Center for Leadership and Diversity in Arts, Sciences and Engineering at the University of Rochester has created a fund to support Raechel Isales Coffey, a senior at Rochester, whose 10-year-old daughter, Noel Parcells, tragically died last weekend.

Isales, an applied mathematics major, is a McNair Scholar and has participated in Kearns Center programs since 2010. Students, faculty, and staff associated with the Kearns Center have established the Friends of Noel fund to assist with the costs associated with Noel's funeral. The Business Association of the South Wedge Area, where Isales resides, also has planned a number of events in honor of Noel. A full list can be found here.

Calling hours for Noel will be on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave., Rochester. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 12, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Church, 30 Gregory Street, Rochester.
