Andrea C. A. Leithner, associate director of admission and financial aid for Hamilton College, has been named director of financial aid at the University of Rochester's River Campus.
The financial aid office deals with undergraduate, graduate, and professional students throughout the University (in some cases, working with the professional schools' own financial aid offices) to administer need-based and merit-based financial aid awards. The office also assists students and their families in securing financial support from non-University sources as well.
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Leithner has served as a financial aid officer at the University of Oklahoma and at Vanderbilt University. She joined Hamilton in 1994 as associate director of financial aid, becoming associate director of admission and financial aid in June 1996.
