Feminist Cameroonian author Thérèse Kuoh-Moukoury will present a lecture on women in French-speaking areas in Africa at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the Management Library Conference Room in Rush Rhees Library on the University of Rochester's River Campus.

Regarded as one of Cameroon's first novelists, Kuoh-Moukoury is an advocate for women in Africa and abroad. She writes in French but also speaks English.

Kuoh-Moukoury's lecture is sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures. Admission is free and open to the general public. For more information, call (585) 275-4253.
