The Korean-American Student Association (KASA) of the University of Rochester is hosting its annual celebration of Korean culture, Korea Night. The event begins at 8 p.m., Friday, March 17, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus. The Rochester community will enjoy musical performances featuring the traditional Korean drum, pul mol no ri; witness a traditional Korean fan dance as well as modern dances; and see a play, Choon Hyang Gun, a Cinderella-like love story. KASA has also invited Korean American children from the local area to sing traditional Korean songs. Demonstrations of tae kwon do, a Korean martial arts form, will also be presented.

Admission for Korea Night is $3 and is open to the public. Tickets may be purchased at either the Common Market in Wilson Commons on the River Campus or at the door. For further information, call (585) 275-5911.
