The University of Rochester's Jazz Ensemble will present its spring concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

The program will feature "Oclupaca," the opening movement of Duke Ellington's Latin American Suite. Selections also include "Big Dipper" by Thad Jones, "Front Runner" by Bill Holman, and an arrangement by John Fedchock of John Coltrane's ballad, "Central Park West."

The River Campus Jazz Ensemble is directed by Michael Stryker and Neal Melley, students in the graduate program at the Eastman School of Music. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (585) 275-2828.
