The Yellowjackets, the University of Rochester's longest running all-male a cappella group, will be giving a performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus.

Directed by junior Brian Scharfenberg, the Yellowjackets will perform some of their most popular hits, as well as songs from their latest album Common Time. Copies of Common Time will go on sale after the performance.

The Yellowjackets frequently travel to high schools and colleges, performing songs arranged for a cappella by group members themselves. They currently tour the country every winter break and record an album every May. Common Time is the group's ninth release.

The Yellowjackets have traveled up and down both the East and West coasts, and have sung in such famous places as the Watergate Hotel, Disneyworld, the White House, and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Tickets for this performance will be $5 and will be available at the door. Tickets are also on sale at the Common Market in Wilson Commons. Please contact the College Music Department at (585) 275-2828 at least five days in advance to request any special accommodations.
