"Images of Italian Americans: Media and Literature," lecture by Santa Casciani of John Carroll University

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the Gowen Room of Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester River Campus

Santa Casciani, assistant professor of Italian and director of the Bishop Pilla Program in Italian American Studies at John Carroll University, will present a lecture titled "Images of Italian Americans: Media and Literature" at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the Gowen Room of Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester River Campus.

Casciani has taught courses on Dante, Italian, and Italian-American literature. Her scholarly interests include the works of Dante, the Italian Renaissance, popular preaching in the middle ages, Italian-American narrative, and applied linguistics.
