Professor Richard Fenno of the Department of Political Science at the University of Rochester has received the 1995 Aaron Wildavsky Award of the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management.

The ABFM is a section of the American Society for Public Administration. Fenno received the award at the association's annual conference in October.

The award honors the lifetime achievements of a scholar in the field of budgeting and financial management, with an emphasis on public budgeting. The award recipient is an outstanding scholar who has contributed greatly through publication, teaching, journal editing, and other academic pursuits.

Fenno is the William J. Kenan Professor of Political Science and Distinguished Professor of Arts and Science at the University. A member of the University's faculty since 1957, he is the award-winning author of several books.
