The financial incentive for University of Rochester employees is also more than doubling.

In his latest book, Jon Gruber puts Rochester at the top of the list of 102 cities poised to become next generation tech hubs. The MIT economist will host a panel discussion on Rochester’s potential to jump-start America.

As of fall 2017, approximately 430 employees have closed on homes as the program continues to help first-time home-buyers purchase homes in Rochester’s historic neighborhoods.

The event is hosted by the community engagement committee of the Students’ Association Government. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. in Hoyt Auditorium, and the town hall will run from noon to 2:30.
