{"id":118922,"date":"2015-09-08T08:44:13","date_gmt":"2015-09-08T12:44:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/newscenter\/?p=118922"},"modified":"2015-09-08T08:46:14","modified_gmt":"2015-09-08T12:46:14","slug":"university-extends-child-care-discount-program-for-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/newscenter\/university-extends-child-care-discount-program-for-employees\/","title":{"rendered":"University extends child-care discount program for employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to discounted child care already available to the University community at the Children\u2019s School at URMC, a new Child Care Select program will offer University faculty, staff, and students a 10 percent tuition discount at several area child-care centers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to support families with young children by offering the University community access to quality child-care options at a discounted rate,\u201d says Tony Kinslow, associate vice president for human resources.<\/p>\n<p>Participating centers in the Rochester area:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Penfield KinderCare, 1606 Penfield Road<\/li>\n<li>Fairport KinderCare, 6839 Pittsford-Palmyra Road<\/li>\n<li>Webster KinderCare, 856 Holt Road<\/li>\n<li>Fisher\u2019s Run KinderCare, 615 Fishers Run, Victor<\/li>\n<li>CCLC at Rochester General Hospital, 770 Carter Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The discount program goes into effect September 9. To receive the tuition discount, show your University ID to the center director at a participating location.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to full- and part-time care, the centers offers school days off programs, vacation days, and drop-in care for school closings.<\/p>\n<p>If you need child care outside of the Rochester area, the discount is also available at KinderCare, CCLC, and Champions
