His project has him travelling to 20 countries in eight months, doing research on emerging markets in Africa.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"lighter\">\u201cI\u2019ll compile my experience and put it all into perspective. I\u2019ll see what worked in other countries. In her work with the Office of Faculty Development and Diversity, she worked on a research project analyzing 10 years of data on faculty diversity.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s next: After a summer internship at a think tank in Washington, D.C., Goodlet will pursue a master\u2019s degree in political science or Africana studies at SUNY Albany before working toward a law degree.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"lighter\">\u201cFor me what\u2019s important is that I leave a legacy behind or that I\u2019m able to reach out and help others as I climb up the ladder to success.\u201d<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin: 0px 20px 20px 0;\">\n<div id=\"yp93dO9QmGw\" class=\"youtube_codegena\" style=\"width: 400px; height: 225px;\" data-params=\"?&amp;theme=dark&amp;autoplay=1&amp;autohide=1&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;showinfo=0&amp;rel=0\"><\/div>\n<script src='https:\/\/rawgit.com\/shaneapen\/Async-Youtube-Player\/master\/async_youtube_player.js'><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/newscenter\/sam-borst-smith-excelling-on-the-court-242112\/\">Sam Borst-Smith<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><em>Major: English<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Hometown: Los Angeles, California<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Borst-Smith was named to the 2017 National Association of Basketball Coaches\u2019 Division III All-America Team. He also won the 2016 State Farm Assist of the Year competition for an intentionally missed free throw and assist to teammate Mack Montague \u201917 for a buzzer-beater in overtime. Video of the clip went viral and was shared widely around the world.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s next: After graduation he\u2019ll be playing basketball professionally in Europe.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"lighter\">\u201cIt\u2019s been honestly everything that I can ask for and more.\u201d<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin: 0px 20px 20px 0;\">\n<div id=\"NV4xH2N4bZo\" class=\"youtube_codegena\" style=\"width: 400px; height: 225px;\" data-params=\"?&amp;theme=dark&amp;autoplay=1&amp;autohide=1&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;showinfo=0&amp;rel=0\"><\/div>\n<script src='https:\/\/rawgit.com\/shaneapen\/Async-Youtube-Player\/master\/async_youtube_player.js'><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/newscenter\/stephanie-venturino-becoming-a-21st-century-musician-242352\/\">Stephanie Venturino<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><em>Majors: classical saxophone performance and music theory<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Hometown: Palmyra, New York<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Venturino was an active of several ensembles at the Eastman School of Music, including the Highland Saxophone Quartet, the Eastman Saxophone Project, and the Eastman Wind Ensemble.
