Anthony Hall is now complete, adding 6,000 square feet of space for UHS services.<\/p>\n<p>The vertical expansion\u2014supported by a $1 million New York State HECap capital grant\u2014expands access to psychiatry and mental health care services, as well as meeting spaces for health support groups on the second floor.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the UHS occupational health program, currently housed in University of Rochester Medical Center, can relocate to the UHS building on River Campus, providing exam rooms, an audiogram booth, nurse offices, and reception area that will serve the entire University community.<\/p>\n<p>Physical therapy is moving to the second floor as well in order to make room for a dedicated respiratory illness clinic in the basement. The health promotion and administrative offices have moved to the fourth floor. University Counseling Center offices remain on the third floor.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining cost of the project was fully funded.<\/p>\n<p>The UHS building was newly constructed in 2008 and brought together primary care and counseling services in one location for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these health services, UHS\u2019s Health Promotion Office provides education and student wellness programs in areas including alcohol and other drugs, nutrition, relationships and sex, and physical and mental well-being.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A project to
