For six weeks, Abdullahi and a classmate visited the River Campus as part of\u00a0NEUROEAST,\u00a0a Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience program<\/a> that gives underrepresented high school students\u00a0access to scientific research experiences in an academic setting.
