Peplin is a finance leader with more than 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit and health sectors.<\/h2>\n

Courtney Peplin, a finance leader with more than 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit and health sectors, has been appointed the University of Rochester<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0senior associate vice president for finance, effective December 18.<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Administration and Finance<\/a>, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Treasurer Elizabeth Milavec<\/a>, Peplin will be a member of the President\u2019s Cabinet and will work collaboratively with leadership to provide strategy and oversight of the University\u2019s consolidated operating budgets, capital budgets, cash and short-term investment management and financial forecasting, developing debt strategies and overseeing public debt issuances. She also will lead the University\u2019s procure-to-pay processes, which include corporate purchasing and supply chain and accounts payable.<\/p>\n

Prior to this appointment, Peplin served as the vice president and CFO of Rochester Regional Health\u2019s Physician Enterprise and Service Lines, overseeing the financial management of an organization comprising more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice providers and an ambulatory network of primary care and specialty practices. Prior to that role, she served in a number of financial leadership positions including senior director of finance at Finger Lakes Performing Provider System and for 14 years as a principal of Rochester accounting firm The Bonadio Group.<\/p>\n

\u201cCourtney\u2019s proven track record in strategic financial analysis, performance improvement, financial forecasts and projections, and more makes her well-suited for tackling the many opportunities for both our higher education and health care missions,\u201d says Milavec. \u201cShe will be a great partner and collaborator for senior leadership as we move the University\u2019s Boundless Possibility strategic plan<\/a> forward, and I am thrilled to have her as a part of my senior team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peplin, a certified public accountant, received a master\u2019s degree in finance and corporate accounting from the University of Central Florida, and a bachelor\u2019s degree from Furman University. She succeeds Michael Andrews, who plans to retire in December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
