What a Day! Boundless Together 2025 Was a Huge Success
On October 3rd, the University of Rochester hosted its Annual Boundless Together Conference at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center — and it was nothing short of inspiring. This year’s theme, “Meeting the Moment,” brought together students, faculty, alumni, and community members for a powerful day of learning, reflection, and connection.
Key Highlights:
- Michele Norris, Peabody Award-winning journalist and MSNBC Senior Contributing Editor, delivered a moving keynote on race, identity, and the power of honest dialogue.
- Harriet Washington ’76, acclaimed author of Medical Apartheid, joined President Sarah Mangelsdorf for a thought-provoking fireside chat on ethics, advocacy, and the importance of historical awareness.
- Attendees engaged in 22 breakout sessions led by campus and community experts, exploring topics like community building, belonging, and personal and collective well-being.
Together, we asked:
- What do I need to know to understand this moment?
- What can I do to respond to this moment?
- How can I care for myself and my community as we do this work?
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event unforgettable. Let’s keep the momentum going — because together, we are truly Boundless.
