Global Engagement provides template agreements, which may reduce the amount of time needed for this process. For most agreements, the duration is five years with the possibility of renewal.\r\n\r\nAgreement renewals should be initiated two to four months prior to the expiration. Renewals will be reviewed by Global and legal counsel and may need additional planning time if significant changes have been proposed. A Partnership Proposal Form may not be required for a renewal. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/office-global-engagement\/contact\/\">Contact us<\/a> early in the renewal process to determine next steps.","accordion_anchor":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"accordion","accordion_title":"Who can sign an agreement?","icon":"","row_content":"Because these are official contracts of the University of Rochester, only those with University signatory permissions may sign. Therefore, it is typically the Vice Provost for Global Engagement, or the University Provost or President who will sign an agreement.
