This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to international education.<\/p>\n<p>He has been an active member of NAFSA since 2010, serving as President and Chair of the Board of Directors from 2019 to 2020, and as Vice President for Professional Development and Engagement from 2016 to 2018. His leadership has been pivotal in expanding support services for international students and enhancing cross-cultural communication within academic settings.<\/p>\n<p>Ravi Shankar expressed his appreciation for the award, stating, \u201cReceiving the NAFSA Distinguished Service Award is not only a personal honor but also a testament to the collective effort of our team at the University of Rochester and the broader international education community.
