The University of Rochester Institutional Review Board reviews all human subject research conducted or supported by employees or agents of the University of Rochester. To do so, the IRB has established 5 internal reviews: 3 biomedical, 1 HIV & oncology, and 1 social-behavioral board.<\/p>\n
The IRB is comprised of a diverse roster, including volunteer faculty\/staff and local community members. All boards comply with applicable federal regulations, state law, and institutional policy.<\/p>\n
