BIKE SHARE

HOP around with Rochester’s bike share program! In an effort to provide students, faculty, and staff with an easy, affordable and healthy way to get where they need to go, the Department of Transportation and Parking has partnered with RTS and the City of Rochester’s new bike share program. The system, owned, operated and maintained by HOPR, a national provider, offers a fleet of pedal bikes throughout the City of Rochester and surrounding areas.

On the Medical Center campus, there are three bike share rental areas and electric scooter dismount zones. River Campus has two bike stations located at Meliora Hall and on Faculty Road.

The blue HOPR bikes may be rented through a smartphone application. HOPR offers pay-as-you-go options, as well as single-day and monthly passes.
