COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
The University is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all employees, students, patients, and visitors. This policy (#165) outlines COVID-19 vaccination requirements for employees and others covered by this policy.
COVID-19 Healthcare Provider Vaccination Policy
Pursuant to the August 18, 2021 New York State Order for Summary Action, Covered Personnel shall be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with a minimum first dose of a vaccination by no later than September 27, 2021.
Remote Work Policy
The University establishes and maintains remote working arrangements which are compatible with the needs of its diverse operating units and in compliance with government laws and regulations.
Time Off to Receive a COVID-19 Vaccine
In accordance with New York State law, eligible employees are entitled to take up to four hours of protected time off from work, with pay, to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
Long-Term Disability Plan
The policy covering the Long Term Disability (LTD) Plan has been replaced by the LTD Certificate effective January 2023.
Compliance Education
This policy provides Medical Center employees with education and information about the Medical Center Compliance Program, certain laws that relate to the submission of claims to Medicare and Medicaid and protections for individuals who report potential billing problems.
Sick Leave Plan
This policy outlines guidelines and procedures for the University's sick leave plan for all eligible employees in accordance with the New York State Sick Leave Law.
