In accordance with New York State law, eligible employees are entitled to take up to four hours of protected time off from work, with pay, to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
The purpose of this policy is to comply with the New York State Public Health Law Article 13-E, and to assist in the creation of a healthful and comfortable environment for all students, faculty, administrators, staff visitors and any other members of the University of Rochester community.
This policy outlines the limitations and restrictions the University has with regard to all forms of political activity.

Some work locations at the University may, because of the nature of the work, pose potential risks to the reproductive health of employees. The Short-Term Disability pays all or part of basic salary for an eligible individual who is absent from work for a period exceeding 7 calendar days due to an illness or disability that is not related to the job and which prevents the individual from performing University duties and responsibilities.
Outlines the University's accordance with the New York State Paid Family Leave Act, which was effective January 1, 2018, allowing all eligible employees to receive partial wage replacement when requesting Paid Family Leave (PFL).

The University of Rochester provides two types of Leaves of Absence for employees. University Leave of Absence May provide employees with up to 12 months’ unpaid leave for reasons such as education, dependent or elder care, or community service.
