George’s Dream House

CHANGING SCENE: The addition, shown here in an artist’s rendering, would extend the Eastman School along Main Street, a plan that was thwarted in 1920 when George Eastman and the owner of a an apartment building couldn’t come to terms on a price for the property. Designed to integrate closely with the school and the theater, the new wing includes an atrium that will serve as a main entrance to the entire building.
