Meredith Clancy has joined the law firm of Harter Secrest & Emery as an associate in its real estate group. . . . Heather Florescue Ferrantino ’04M (MD) and Matt Ferrantino ’04M (MD) write that they “welcomed Jack, Kate and Ryan on August 31, 2007, at 35 weeks’ gestation with a combined weight of 14 pounds 9 ounces! All three are healthy and meeting milestones right on target.” Heather worked until 30 weeks with co-residents pushing her on a chair during rounds. Matt and Heather say that they feel incredibly blessed and tired. . . . Lisa Grasdalen reports that she graduated with a master of arts degree in education from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minn., in December 2007. . . . Brie Blumenreich and Mark Entel write to announce their engagement. They live in Washington, D.C. . . . Husna Lapidus has joined the Rochester office of Hiscock & Barclay as an associate attorney. . . . Kadie Simon sends a photo announcing her wedding to Steven Jelenchick on June 9, 2007, in Milwaukee. Alumni in attendance included Tracy Simon ’04, Keather Papa, Amy Lorenzetti Barg, Elizabeth Whelan, Jaclyn Dalton deKoff, Lisa Johns ’03, and Matt Kelly ’00. Kadie is an intellectual property litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner. She and Steve, also an attorney, live in Milwaukee.

Erin McCrossan sends a photo announce her marriage to Daniel Cassar on August 4, 2007, in Scotia, N.Y. Couples pictured with Erin and Daniel are Tim Kneezel, bridesmaid Teresa Tygert Kneezel ’07W, bridesmaid Amy Henges and her husband, Bill, Teresa’s sister, Beth, and her fiancé, Tim. Others in attendance included Susie Hume, Tiffani McDonough, Christin Murphy, Rebecca Hughey Moore, Sam Haddad ’04, Jennifer Weiss ’04, Michelle Bass ’05, Karen Raupp Clever ’04, and Jake Clever. Erin, who has been chosen as a Teachers Network MetLife Fellow, is a teacher at Eximius College Preparatory Academy, a College Board 6–12 public school in the Bronx. Daniel is a computer programmer for Morgan Stanley. The couple lives in Queens.

Nicholas Bero is an associate in the patent prosecution group at Fish & Richardson in Boston. . . . Justine Deutsch writes that she graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture with a master of acupuncture and oriental medicine degree in August 2007, and shortly after became a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She practices acupuncture part-time at Manchester Acupuncture Studio in Manchester, N.H.; her own business, Back to Balance Acupuncture Studio, opens in Medford, Mass., in February 2008. . . . Sara Finiki sends a photo of her with Meredith Fine ’82. Sara writes, “While sitting next to each other at the Massachusetts bar exam in July, we discovered we were both Rochester alums. We both passed the bar exams, and we took this picture together at our swearing-in ceremony in Boston in November.”
