In addition, various academic programs are accredited by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/provost\/academic-administration-accreditation-and-assessment\/accreditation\/national-and-international-accreditations\/\">specialized or professional agencies<\/a>, signifying that they meet the standards of educational quality for those organizations. The University&#8217;s academic programs are registered with the New York State Education Department (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysed.gov\/\">NYSED<\/a>).
