RESTORING A MASTERPIECE: THE RENOVATION OF EASTMAN THEATRE
For more than year, a team of documentary filmmakers from Rochester's public broadcasting affiliate WXXI followed the efforts to restore and renovate Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. See a "sneak preview" of the film's production, including conversations with Douglas Lowry, dean of the Eastman School, and other in-studio guests who will share stories about the history of the theater and its renovation. The program begins at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, on WXXI-TV (digital TV channel 21.1 / digital cable channel 1011 / cable channel 11). (The full documentary will air in spring 2010.)
