Who we are & what we do<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Title IX Office aims to promote a University community free of sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct, to educate our community about University policy and Title IX compliance, and help impacted parties make the most informed decisions possible about their safety and well-being. The Title IX Office frequently consults with members of the University community about their concerns and questions related to sexual misconduct, and our office acts as a neutral resource for the entire University community.<\/p>\n

We respond to reports<\/span><\/strong> from impacted individuals, mandatory reporters, bystanders, and others dealing with concerns about Title IX prohibited behavior, which can include sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and related retaliation. We help individuals navigate resources, learn about options, and access supportive measures.<\/span><\/p>\n

We assess and respond <\/span><\/strong>to impact from prohibited behavior(s) occurring across the University, and work to create a culture of consent for all.<\/span><\/p>\n

We operate through a<\/span> trauma-informed and non-bias lens <\/span><\/strong>throughout our process, focusing on support, neutrality, and fairness for those involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

We educate and engage<\/strong> our campus community in understanding important and often legally required topics like sexual assault prevention, affirmative consent, building healthy relationships, respecting boundaries, and learning how to be a BADASS Bystander<\/a>.<\/p>\n
