Pursuant to Federal Title IX regulations any investigators, decision-makers, Title IX Coordinators, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process will, when serving in such a role, be trained to serve in that role.<\/p>\n
These individuals must participate in training on the definition of sexual harassment in \u00a7 106.30, the scope of the recipient\u2019s education program or activity, how to conduct an investigation and grievance process including hearings, appeals, and informal resolution processes, as applicable, and how to serve impartially, including by avoiding prejudgment of the facts at issue, conflicts of interest, and bias.<\/p>\n
